Peter Cobley started his career in Executive Search in 1995, as a delivery consultant, working purely on retained assignments across industry. Peter then developed a specialisation in TMT and 2 years later moved to a specialist European Search boutique, as Managing Consultant.
In 1999, Peter returned to Scotland to join the largest recruitment firm in Scotland. It was here, as Divisional Manager, that Peter set up their retained Executive Search practice. One of Peter’s clients, Global Crossing, approached him with a view to him re-locating back to London to take up the post of European Business Development Manager and in November 2000, Peter made the move.
Peter moved back to Executive Search in June 2005, to focus on the development of the Search to Search practice for a recruitment to recruitment firm in the South East. Rapidly successful, Peter decided to open his own consultancy in June 2006, hence The Grosvenor Partnership was born, now branded as Grosvenor Human Capital.
Peter’s retained search background has allowed him to develop an enviable client list, spanning 4 continents and works closely with many of the most prestigious brand names in executive search.
